Ingredients

Units Scale

Fudge Base

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Swirl

  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff (or marshmallow cream)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and melted butter. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully combined to create your fudge base.
  2. Add the vanilla and salt. Remove the saucepan from heat, then stir in the vanilla extract and salt until fully incorporated for enhanced flavor.
  3. Pour into the pan. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the smooth chocolate fudge mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  4. Add the marshmallow swirl. Drop spoonfuls of marshmallow fluff evenly over the fudge surface. Using a knife or skewer, gently swirl the marshmallow through the fudge to create a marbled effect.
  5. Chill and set. Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm enough to cut.
  6. Cut and serve. Once set, use the parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into small squares and serve your delicious marshmallow swirl fudge.

Notes

  • Ensure low heat when melting chocolate to prevent burning or seizing.
  • Use parchment paper in the pan for easy removal of fudge once set.
  • Marshmallow fluff can be substituted with marshmallow cream if unavailable.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Bring fudge to room temperature before serving for a softer texture.
