  • 1/2 cup hot milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Roast the Garlic: Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut off the top of the garlic head, drizzle with oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 25-30 minutes. Squeeze out roasted cloves.
  2. Cook Potatoes: Boil potato chunks in salted water until tender, about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Brown the Butter: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until browned and fragrant.
  4. Mash the Potatoes: Drain cooked potatoes, return to pot, add roasted garlic, browned butter, salt, and pepper. Mash to desired consistency.
